Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Christina believes therapy is beneficial for everyone to express their concerns, identify their needs, and process their emotions. She utilizes a person-centered, warm, and direct approach with clients. Christina employs concepts of motivational interviewing, ACT, and mindfulness to support her clients.
Christina earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Counseling from Walden University. She also earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Services from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Christina has experience working in community mental health, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care with adults and adolescents. She specializes in working with adolescents, navigating issues related to eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and family conflict.
In her free time Christina likes traveling, attending events, and spending time with family and friends.
