If you’re struggling with conflict in your relationships, friendships, and family Esther can help you navigate these feelings and offer a path forward. Esther is committed to helping individuals and couples develop insight into communication and behavioral patterns that contribute to conflict. Utilizing her Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 training, she strengthens connection and deepens relationships in the therapeutic space.

Prior to working in Private Practice, Esther spent time interning at the State Attorney’s Children’s Advocacy Center. Esther’s experience working with children at the advocacy center inspires her to amplify the voices of children through individual and family therapy. Esther utilizes play therapy to helps children build skills and process their emotions.

Esther has a background in musical theater and worked at Walt Disney World as a character performer. As a member of the theater community, she has a deep understanding of the anxiety that can be produced in these intense environments. She connects with creative young adults and creates collaborative space, where the client is involved in their treatment planning and is actively working towards their goals.  

Esther holds an EdS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago and received her Bachelors in Psychology from Lake Forest College. Esther works with  adolescents, adults and couples struggling with issues related to trauma, eating disorders, relationships, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. She utilizes various trauma-informed treatment modalities in her approach to therapy.

Outside of work, you can find Esther trying new recipes for dinner parties with her friends and family. She practices her own mindfulness through yoga and intends to get certified as a yoga instructor.
