Kelly Bucher, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults. She specializes in evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. In addition, Kelly works with individuals navigating relationship challenges, body image concerns, life transitions, and low self-esteem.
Kelly is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and thoughtfully integrates this approach into her clinical work to support deeper self-understanding and healing.
Kelly believes that mental health is foundational to overall well-being. She understands that reaching out for help—whether for yourself or a loved one—takes courage. Her goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. In sessions, Kelly strikes a balance between empathy and challenge, guiding clients through meaningful changes at a sustainable pace. She also equips clients with practical, effective coping strategies that can be used both in and out of the therapy room. With warmth and compassion, Kelly helps clients foster a more accepting and compassionate relationship with themselves and others.
Outside of the therapy room, Kelly enjoys quality time with family and friends, long walks with her dog, diving into podcasts, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. She’s also a dessert enthusiast and is always on the lookout for the best sweet treat—so far, Big Fat Cookie Co. holds the top spot!
